GrandWay Pocket Knife S-27

is a relatively small type of city knife for everyday usage. The knife is pretty light in weight and can easily be poked in your pocket due to two-positioned deep clip. The knife S-27 is equipped with reliable axis lock blocking joint-pin of which provides a perfect softness of motion.

Sharpening of the knife doesn't need to be improved and the knife can not only cut any paper in a hanging position, but also shave. The thickness of the blade on a butt is approximately 3.5 mm, slopes are straight from the butt. It's made of stainless steel 8Cr13MoV. The handle - steel liners and cover plates are made of «military green» G-10.

The surface of the blade is processed with transversal sateen. Non-aggressive notching for a thumb is made on the butt of the blade near the handle (it's convenient to put a thumb in this notching while working). In general the ergonomics of the knife is on the top, nothing presses, nothing squeezes, G10 is properly processed, edges are beveled where necessary. Small amount of mounting furniture such as small screws for slips, booms don't reduce the rigidity and reliability of the handle. Maybe, the only week point of the knife is that the clip can be placed in two different positions.

The knife has excellently adjusted mechanics. The blade can be folded under its weight which is provided by the usage of brass puck on the axis of the blade. There is also no backlash of the blade. The lock easily stands even butt blow. Thin joining, less than 0.5 mm, together with slopes from the butt makes the knife an outstanding cutting tool.

Summing up, it has to be said that S-27 is a splendid knife.
